When Encounters Become Purpose

There are encounters in life that are guided by something greater, a silent force that weaves paths together, brings stories closer, and prepares bonds even before we understand their meaning.

People who cross paths in seemingly casual ways follow their paths, but remain stored in memory as if that moment heralded something yet to come.

Over time, these encounters take on new meaning. What was once just a coincidence turns out to be a starting point. This is how, from subtle affinities, partnerships were born that today generate real social impact.

Partnerships that began “at home” with employees whose stories became intertwined with ABMTHS's purpose.

Currently, Ivo's job is to meet potential partners of the Association and assess whether these social projects fit within the three fundamental pillars of ABMTHS's work:

Thus, each encounter becomes a seed, each partnership becomes a bridge, and each gesture of solidarity and commitment opens doors to a more dignified future for all.

In this tangle of branches ready to blossom and bear fruit lies the story of Casa Santa Terezinha: - A partnership that also reached ABMTHS through the Nossa Senhora da Paz Monastery, where Dr. Régia de Sica, who leads the project, was referred by the nuns to seek out ABMTHS when she was going through a very difficult time continuing the project that serves children with severe skin diseases.

After almost a year of partnership, Casa Santa Terezinha continues on its path of solidarity, seeking sustainability for its project, receiving support and consulting from ABMTHS, through Ivo's guidance. And for the first time in a long time, in November, Casa's accounts closed with a positive balance!

None of this happens by chance, but rather from the sensitivity of each person recognizing that certain encounters carry purpose.

When people come together, moved by a sincere desire to care, join forces, and build opportunities, transformation happens, the impact multiplies, flourishes, and the lives of many begin to bear fruit where before there was only expectation.
