Ponte Preta's Futsaldown team is participating in the Copa Brasil

From July 9 to 15, Maceió (AL) hosted the 2026 CBDI Copa do Brasil Futsaldown, bringing together 10 teams and more than 120 athletes from different Brazilian states in a grand celebration of sports, inclusion, and overcoming challenges.
Representing Campinas, Ponte Preta S21 played matches against traditional rivals in the sport, including Instituto Amor 21 (AL), Goodnut Brodowski (SP), and CDC Jardim Avelino (SP). The team also took advantage of their downtime to explore and enjoy the natural beauty of Maceió.
Capping off a week of high-level play and reaffirming the growth of futsal for people with Down syndrome in Brazil, the Corinthians Futsal Down team emerged as the tournament champion.
