In the month when we celebrate the value of every human being in their uniqueness, with a day dedicated to Down syndrome (March 21), Ian Pereira’s story reminds us that, when there is love, respect, and opportunity, talents flourish and new paths open up.
A student at Parsifal, Ian is a dancer, actor, and a living inspiration that development happens when there is genuine acceptance, togetherness, and trust. He is part of the cast of the film Down Quixote.
On the day dedicated to Down syndrome and every other day, we celebrate not only inclusion, but the richness of every journey, every expression, and every achievement.
