CSMMR in the fight against child sexual abuse and exploitation

In May, Centro Social Madre Maria Rosa joined the national Faça Bonito campaign, a movement dedicated to preventing and combating the sexual abuse and exploitation of children and adolescents.

After awareness and preparation activities, children and teens took part in a community outreach action along one of the neighborhood’s busiest streets, distributing yellow flowers and sharing messages about the importance of protecting children.

The initiative was warmly received by local residents, reinforcing that safeguarding children’s rights is a responsibility shared by the entire community.
