#TBT – World Environment Day

On June 6, children and teenagers from the Madre Maria Rosa Social Center in Maceió, Alagoas, participated in a visit to COOPREL, a super inspiring recycling cooperative formed by men and women who support their families by selling recycled materials they collect on the streets of Maceió!

♻️💚 Since February, the topic of recycling and its benefits for the planet has been addressed at CSMMR through videos, discussion groups, puppet theater, art, and music, in a fun and educational way. 🎭🎶

💖✨ The children were delighted with the work done there. And to thank them for their welcome, they sang a song and gave each member of the cooperative a souvenir made from recycled materials. 🎶🎁

It was an afternoon of learning, solidarity, and hope in the power to transform the world with small actions! 🌱🌟
