Prezados Irmãos e Prezadas Irmãs, graça e paz! Quando implodiu a pandemia do corona vírus no inicio do ano de 2020, talvez uma das frases mais ouvidas nas lives, nas falas de muitos especialistas, em crises e na linguagem do senso comum: “ Tudo isso vai passar, e sairemos melhores dessa.” Com o passar do tempo, a crise que se apresentou com maior contundência foi a humanitária. A crise pela qual passávamos seria de imunidade ou de humanidade? No termômetro humano no sentido de empatia e compaixão, ainda precisaria subir bastante.
O Papa Francisco tem sido uma voz necessária. Suas falas e Gestos expressam um coração e ouvidos de pastor, capaz de sentir e ouvir a voz do mundo. Na encíclica Fratelli tutti, o texto do Papa ensina a todos nós o valor e a necessidade urgente da fraternidade e amizade social. Trata-se de um apelo para que acordamos do possível sono da indiferença e nos esforcemos para uma verdadeira solidariedade universal. A pandemia lançou sobre nós uma nuvem de incertezas mas não abalou a nossa fé e a esperança. O medo do vírus nos ronda ate hoje, mas como Instituição comprometida com a vida estivemos unidos como equipe dando o máximo de nós mesmos para atingir e chegar ate os nossos destinatários que foram as maiores Vitimas, muitos ficaram órfãos.
Hoje Graças a Deus nossas crianças e jovens estão aqui, estão de volta cheios de energia e expectativas, enchendo a nossa casa de vida e alegria. Os nossos corações estão em festa pelo retorno das nossas crianças e adolescentes, razão principal da nossa missão. Temos grandes desafios pela frente. Há uma travessia que devemos enfrentar e não a enfrentamos sozinhos pois sempre podemos contar com Vossa ajuda, vosso apoio da ABMTHS para a realização de nosso projeto.
Nossa eterna gratidão. Somando esforços somos solidários na dor e no serviço a vida. Nosso horizonte é o eterno. Por isso, nossa sensibilidade pastoral não pode se frustrar aos desafios de acender a esperança, especialmente dos mais fragilizados no atual senário dramático da existência humana, da criação, da “casa comum”. Estamos todos interligados. “A esperança e como que o brilho dos olhos de uma mãe, porque, naquele olhar, ainda que haja dor, o amor de Deus é a luz diante das situações mais desafiadoras”. Dear Brothers and Sisters, grace and peace! When the coronavirus pandemic imploded in the beginning of 2020, perhaps one of the most heard phrases in lives, in the speech of many experts, in crises and in the language of common sense: "All this will pass, and we'll come out of this better." Over time, the crisis that presented itself with the greatest impact was the humanitarian one. Was the crisis we were going through one of immunity or humanity? On the human thermometer in the sense of empathy and compassion, it would still need to go up a lot.
Pope Francis has been a necessary voice. His speech and gestures express a pastor's heart and ears, able to feel and hear the voice of the world. In the encyclical Fratelli tutti, the Pope's text teaches us all the value and urgent need for fraternity and social friendship. It is a call for us to wake up from the possible sleep of indifference and to strive for true universal solidarity. The pandemic has cast a cloud of uncertainty over us but has not shaken our faith and hope. The fear of the virus surrounds us until today, but as an Institution committed to life, we were united as a team, giving our best to reach our recipients who were the greatest victims, many were orphans.
Today Thanks to God our children and young people are here, they are back full of energy and expectations, filling our house with life and joy. Our hearts are joyful for the return of our children and teenagers, the main reason for our mission. We have big challenges ahead. There is a crossing that we must face and we do not face it alone because we can always count on Your help, your support from ABMTHS for the realization of our project.
Our eternal gratitude. Adding efforts, we are in solidarity in pain and in the service of life. Our horizon is the eternal. For this reason, our pastoral sensitivity cannot be frustrated with the challenges of igniting hope, especially for those most fragile in the current dramatic scenario of human existence, of creation, of the “common house”. We are all interconnected. "Hope and like the sparkle in a mother's eyes, because, in that look, even though there is pain, God's love is the light in the face of the most challenging situations."
