“Anelo significa inspiração, desejo, vontade...”

Em duas décadas de história, o Instituto Anelo impactou a vida de muitos jovens. Uma delas, é Alissa Gondim Macedo. Com 21 anos, casada com o músico Marcos Macedo e mãe de Zarael, uma linda menina de 7 meses, ela começou a frequentar o instituto aos 9 anos e aprendeu vários instrumentos, como escaleta e piano, e também, a cantar. Aos 15, começou a ter crises de ansiedade, depressão e desenvolveu transtornos alimentares que a afastaram de tudo e de todos, inclusive das aulas de música. Foi nesse momento, de emoções conflitantes, que ela acabou entrando no mundo das drogas.
Mas, graças a persistência de Luccas Soares; fundador do instituto, que ao perceber que ela estava faltando muito às aulas e iria perder a vaga no instituto, foi buscá-la em casa; Alissa seguiu no Anelo, onde ela sempre se sentiu acolhida, se aproximou de Deus e conseguiu se curar, mudando sua história!
Ela reconhece a importância do Anelo em sua vida: “- Entre idas e vindas, eu sempre voltava pro instituto, porque eu sabia que lá tinham pessoas com quem eu poderia contar, foi lá que criei vínculos pra vida. A música que eu aprendi, segue comigo. Hoje eu dou aulas, toco e canto na igreja e onde me chamarem, vou com muito prazer! Já substituí professores no Anelo e pretendo voltar a dar aulas lá! Deus usou aquele lugar e o Luccas para mudar a minha vida, para que eu pudesse estar aqui agora, contando a minha história!”
Atualmente, Alissa usa suas redes sociais, para levar a palavra de Deus através de canções que ela que toca e canta, como no vídeo abaixo de setembro de 2021. Ela também partilha um pouco de sua história, como forma de ajudar outros jovens, que podem estar passando pelos mesmos problemas que ela enfrentou.
A música que aprendeu nos anos de Instituto Anelo, não sai da vida dela: - No dia a dia, Alissa e o marido respiram notas musicais e melodias! Alissa tem várias composições que promete um dia lançar, mas por enquanto, ela canta, louvando e agradecendo a Deus, pela nova chance de vida e tenta transmitir o amor pela música, para a filha Zarael, para que a música também seja um instrumento de transformação na vida da bebê, assim como foi para ela.
E por causa de histórias como a de Alissa, o Instituto Anelo se firma em seu propósito de ser um lugar de transformação de vidas, um lugar de pertencimento, de inclusão e empoderamento. Onde todos os jovens, independente de raça, credo ou ideologia, com inspiração, desejo e vontade; podem sonhar e alcançar um futuro melhor através da música e do respeito.

"Anelo means inspiration, desire, will..."
In the two decades of its history, the Anelo Institute has had a profound impact on the lives of many young people. One of them is Alissa Gondim Macedo. At 21 years of age, she is married to musician Marcos Macedo and the mother of Zarael, a beautiful 7-month old baby girl.
Alyssa began going to the institute at the age of 9, and there she learned several instruments, such as the melodica and piano, and also to sing. At age 15, she began to have episodes of anxiety, depression, and she developed eating disorders that drove her away from everything and everyone, including her music classes. It was during this period of conflicting emotions that she ended up getting into drugs.
But, it was thanks to the persistence of Luccas Soares, founder of the institute, who, when he realized that Alyssa was missing too many classes and would soon lose her place at the institute, went to her home to look for her, that she returned. She continued at Anelo, where she always felt welcome, became closer to God, and was able to heal herself, changing her story!
Alyssa recognizes the importance of Anelo in her life: "Between all the comings and goings, I always came back to the institute, because I knew that there were people there that I could count on. It was there that I created life-long bonds. The music that I learned is still with me. I give lessons, play and sing in church and, wherever they call me, I go with great pleasure! I have already substituted teachers at Anelo and I intend to return to teach there again! God used that place and Luccas to change my life, so that I could be here now, telling my story!"
Nowadays, Alissa uses her social networks to share the word of God through the songs she plays and sings, as in the video below from September 2021. She also shares a bit of her story as a help to other young people, who may be going through the same problems that she faced.
The music she learned in her years at the Anelo Institute is an integral part of her life; in her day to day, Alissa and her husband breathe musical notes and melodies! Alissa has several compositions that she promises to make public some day; but for now she sings, praising and thanking God for a new chance at life. She also tries to pass on her love of music to her daughter, Zarael, so that music may be an instrument of transformation in the baby's life, as it was for her.
It is because of stories like Alissa's, the Anelo Institute remains firm in its goal: to be a place of transformation of lives, a place of belonging, of inclusion and empowerment, where all young people, regardless of race, creed, or ideology, with inspiration, desire, and will, can dream and achieve a better future through music and respect.
