Expedicionários da Saúde celebrate the milestone of ten thousand surgeries in twenty years of history.

In the same year that EDS celebrates 20 years since its first expedition to indigenous villages in the Amazon, it has reached the milestone of 10,000 surgeries.

For each indigenous individual who has been impacted, the environment in which they live, their community, their families and the volunteers who have been involved in their journey have also been transformed.

"We are privileged for every life we have had the opportunity to care for. To each of them, our immense gratitude."
